Indiana Care Select Pharmacy Benefits

IHCP Bulletin May 2013 | New Pharmacy Benefit Manager NEW!

Catamaran is the new Pharmacy Benefit Manager for the Indiana Medicaid and Medicare programs. Catamaran will be responsible for:

• Processing pharmacy and compound claims

• Developing and maintaining the State’s Preferred Drug List

• Process prior authorization requests

• Develop and maintain the State’s MAC program

• Develop and maintain the State’s rebate program

• Develop and maintain the OTC Formulary

• Audit pharmacy providers

• Manage specialty pharmacy claims
